Introduction
Khazar Fabrication supplies suitably qualified personnel to sites both onshore and offshore.
Location
The construction team is based in a purpose built facility on the Salyan Highway just a few kilometres South of Baku and directly opposite the Deep Water Jacket Facility operated by Bos Shelf.
Personnel
Khazar Fabrication is committed to ensuring that all employees are trained in all the latest quality, safety, fabrication and lifting techniques and has extensive training facilities in house. The installation workforce holds current offshore medical and survival certification.
Khazar Fabrication retains the services of a BP approved lifting technical authority enabling us to provide professional lifting plans for all site operations.
In addition to senior management, line management, QA/QC and safety technicians, the workforce currently consists of 150 trades personnel
Equipment
Khazar Fabrication owns a comprehensive range of mobile plant and equipment for use on land sites and offshore.
Mobile equipment includes:
- 12 diesel welding machines.
- 25 tonne mobile crane.
- 7 tonne forklift truck.
- 5 tonne forklift truck.
- A total of 70 containers mainly outfitted as offices, change rooms, security huts and storage.
- Site toolboxes.
Where applicable all equipment is maintained within certification.
