Radiator Support Platform - Khazarengineering

It was planned to replace the existing cementing Unit on the Chirag platform with a model CPS-366 cementing unit together with its associated equipment. This equipment includes two cooling radiators contained within individual transportation frames.

To locate the radiator units, a new platform was designed extending from the pipe deck to an area above the CPS-366 location in the sack store. Access was required to the top of the radiators so a removable walkway and vertical access ladder were designed as a pinned assembly for easy erection and assembly offshore.

The platform was designed as a single lift and fitted with suitably designed padeyes located at each corner.

The platform was fitted with stabbing guides for precise positioning of the radiator units so walkways and an access ladder could be fitted accurately.
