Survey - Khazarengineering

Assets that have been operating for a long period of time will inevitably require remedial actions due to corrosion, erosion and cyclic stresses amongst other factors.

When Khazar Engineering is called upon to engineer a particular solution a surveyor is mobilised with an engineer to the facility in question.

A solution is agreed with the client representative and the engineer advises the surveyor of the data to be collected.

Problems that can be encountered include:

• Lack of access
• Areas extremely congested with pipework and equipment
• Simops where surveys have to be undertaken during meal breaks
• Bed space restrictions where surveys have to be completed in abbreviated time frames.
